Material for Fake Volumetric Light Shafts

This is a material for fake volumetric light when the light source is off camera or if you want avoid using volumetric fog. Add this from a cone mesh and delete the bottom face of the cone. The Fresnel gives you soft sides and the linear gradient lets you fade out the bottom.

Click the button above, it will automatically copy blueprint in your clipboard. Then in Unreal Engine blueprint editor, paste it with ctrl + v
